The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether the methodological proposal presented for the teaching of film rewriting, based on an environment of care and respect during the teaching-learning process, can contribute to improve the teacher-student relationship and, therefore, the quality of the scripts. During one semester, the proposed methodology was implemented and the results were analyzed by means of an input and an output questionnaire. The study focused on 22 sixth-semester students of the subject Screenwriting III, belonging to the Cinematographic and Audiovisual Arts career at the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes, during the period from January to June 2023. The findings indicate that, although a change in the students' receptivity is observed, only a small percentage completed the process. It is estimated that, through the implementation of improvements, the quality of the work will increase in future semesters.
