Abstract

The history, as well as its teaching and learning, is related with the construction of meaning and the relation with the questioning: what is it good for? To the question, why study history? the answer of three prominent historians is exposed: Luis Villoro, Héctor Aguilar Camín and Enrique Florescano, who in a very clear way, invite to trying to comprehend the purposes of history. The main objective of this article is to debate about history, its teaching and learning; as well as the meaning that has to be given to it; additionally, it includes a simple proposal for working with young people.

Licenciada en Sociología por la Universidad Autónoma de  Aguascalientes,  maestra  en  Humanidades-Historia  por la Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas, doctora en Historia  por  la  Universidad  Autónoma  de  Zacatecas;  profesor-investigador   de   la   Universidad   Pedagógica   Nacional,  Unidad  011,  Aguascalientes.  Materias  impartidas:  Microhistoria  y    Desarrollo  Regional,  Construcción  del  conocimiento  de  la  historia  en  primaria,  Educación Geográfica, Problemas sociales contemporáneos. Es autora de capítulos de libros y artículos de revistas y periódicos en la línea de Historia cultural.
