Abstract

“The Academic Unit of Psychology of the Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas has already celebrated 30 years of forming professionals in mental health, nowadays, uses a program designed in 1997, the major lasts five years divided into two years of basic area and 3 more for and area of emphasis among which are: clinical, educational, social and labor.

When comparing the program with that of the universities with the best international ratings to study this major (Harvard and Cambridge), the need to update the programs in Mexico, specifically in Zacatecas, comes to light.

The updated topics of interest point towards the studies in neurosciences, family intervention, community practices, among others. As personal that dedicates the development of the investigation that can later be proposals of patents for the support of the University”.

Edith Alejandra Pérez Márquez, Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas

Maestra en Ciencias de la Educación. Actualmente, funge como docente-investigador de la Unidad Académica de Psicología y como Coordinadora del Centro de Intervención y Servicios Psicológicos de Apozol, en la Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas (UAZ), extensión Jalpa. Imparte diversas materias sobre todo del área de la educación, entre las que se encuentran Intervención Psicopedagógica, Hábitos de Estudio, Rendimiento Escolar, Asesoría Educativa y Vocacional, Diagnóstico Vocacional, Investigación Educativa, Prácticas en Estimulación Temprana, Educación Integradora, Desarrollo de la Creatividad, Educación Creativa y Diseño Curricular, entre otras.
