The historiography left as a legacy by the famous historians of the Annales, Marc Bloch and Lucien Febvre, is remembered by all generations of professionals of the past with a touch of solemnity, but at least in Mexico, it does not go beyond that to be really applied or surpassed by the young people who join the profession every year. This is largely due to the intensified fragmentation caused by the regionalization of history promoted by Luiz González, whose intention to defeat centralism and national history has meant that new historiographic works do not think beyond local contexts. This work concentrates on the realization of meditations on the subject, which are more pertinent than ever given that history, like any discipline, grows from constant criticism of its own academic production.
