Women in the correspondence to Porfirio Díaz, 1877-1912⁚ numbers and focal points

The correspondence sent by women to Porfirio Diaz during his government allow us to observe some of the problematics these females faced. This article takes a look at how correspondence moved between 1877-1912, firstly taking into consideration the material conditions of the country in the matter of postal service. The objective consists in: get a glimpse through sampling on the approximate number of female letters that arrived at Porfirio's desk; the ascending or descending in the number of letters, while at the same time explain and locate the places from where they get sent to determinate fundamental spaces and the reasons of being. Simultaneously we explain the national integration done by the central government.
